Mesh Morphing in Game Design
A downloadable project
This project was completed as a Summer Research Project under Dr. Steve Engels at the University of Toronto. The project was on "Mesh Morphing in Game Design". I took concepts from image morphing and image blending and applied it to meshes. The main algorithm constructs a one-to-one mapping between two input meshes and once complete allows the user to morph between them freely. Since the mapping can be computed in run-time we can morph any two objects in a scene without any precomputed correspondence.
